In 1970, Dick Enders founded Enders & Associates as an automotive aftermarket sales representative firm. Initial product lines included companies such as Grote, Radiator Specialty Company (makers of Gunk), Phillips Industries, and other various names popular at the time.
By 1980, two truck manufacturers in the Pacific Northwest, Freightliner and Paccar, had begun to make a name for themselves. It was then the agency began to add the heavy duty market to its traditional focus on warehouse distributors, dealers and truck manufacturers in the Pacific Northwest. By 1990, the company had expanded to the Recreational Vehicle market and exited the automotive aftermarket completely.
In 1993, the first Enders warehouse was opened in Portland, Oregon. Two years later, an additional warehouse was added in Seattle, Washington. In 1996, Mr. Enders retired and sold the company to current management.
Today, Enders & Associates has grown to become a leading Manufactures Representative Agency in the heavy duty industry. The agency represents principals in North & Central America as well as a European presence through our partnership with the Doerr Group in Baden Baden, Germany.
